Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Who we are and the scope of this policy

This policy is issued by Diwan Al-Hakma Company for Law and Legal Consultations as the controller of personal data collected through this website. It sets out what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and your rights under the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its implementing regulations.

The data we collect

We collect only what you provide voluntarily through the site's forms, together with aggregate measurement data:

  • The contact details you enter in the consultation request form: name, mobile number, email address, and organisation if you give one.
  • The description of the matter you write in the details field, and the practice area and urgency you select.
  • Aggregate usage data via Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, traffic source, device type, and session duration.
  • Technical data logged automatically by the hosting for security purposes: IP address, browser type, and request time.

Lawful basis and purpose of processing

We process contact data on the basis of the explicit consent you give when you tick the consent box on the form, for the specific purpose of responding to your request, assessing the scope of work, and sending a fee proposal. We process usage data on the legitimate interest of measuring and improving site performance. We do not use your data for any other purpose, and we take no automated decisions affecting you.

Sharing of data

We do not sell, trade or share your data for marketing purposes. It is shared in two circumstances only: with the technical service providers who operate the website, our email and our measurement tools, and only to the extent required to operate them; and where a statutory obligation or an order from a competent judicial or regulatory authority requires it.

Retention periods

Consultation requests that do not become engagements are retained for twenty-four months from the last contact and are then deleted. Files of engaged clients are subject to the professional retention periods prescribed by regulation for legal files. Aggregate usage data is retained according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics.

Information security and confidentiality

Confidentiality is a professional duty and one of our core values. The site is served entirely over HTTPS, and access to requests is limited to the team members concerned. We request sensitive documents over a secure channel rather than through the website form, and we recommend that you do not send confidential documents through the form.

Your rights

The law grants you the following rights, which you may exercise by contacting us:

  • The right to be informed how your data is collected and used.
  • The right to access your data and obtain a copy of it.
  • The right to have your data corrected, completed or updated.
  • The right to request destruction of your data once the purpose of collection has ended.
  • The right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting lawful processing already carried out.

Cookies

The site uses cookies necessary for its operation, together with optional measurement cookies from Google Analytics. You may refuse or delete measurement cookies through your browser settings without affecting how the site works.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when data protection regulation or our practices change. The last updated date appears at the top of this page, and the version published here is the version in force.
